Key focus areas 

• Driving sales of The Switch’s electric machines and power electronics, with a primary focus on DC-Hubs and single drives for marine applications
• Acting as the main contact for selected key accounts, building trust and identifying opportunities for business growth
• Collaborating with engineering, project management and service teams to deliver a superior customer experience
• Representing The Switch at customer meetings, events and industry gatherings

An ideal candidate has 

• Minimum BSc degree in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on power electronics
• Work experience with power electronics products
• Strong interest in sales and business development
• Good communication and presentation skills in English, both written and spoken
• Proactive and curious mindset, eager to learn and take initiative
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external customers

Bonus points for 

• Previous work experience in customer-facing roles, such as sales or technical support or project engineering
• Knowledge of the marine industry, shipbuilding or marine electrical systems
• Technical understanding of frequency converters, battery systems or rotating electric machines
• Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce
• International work or study experience
• Proficiency in other languages, such as Finnish or Swedish

The recruitment process 

• We will keep in touch with you throughout the recruitment process 
• Selected candidates will have 2–3 interviews with HR and the hiring manager 
• The process is expected to be finalized by February 15, 2026, with a start date to be agreed upon 

The starting salary for this role ranges from approximately €4,000 to €5,000. The final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s skills and experience and is negotiable for highly experienced candidates with unique strengths.
