Key areas of focus 

• 3D mechanical design using SolidWorks
• Creation and maintenance of product structures in Windchill PDM
• Design of welded, machined and cast structures
• Collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure design quality and manufacturability

An ideal candidate has 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in demanding mechanical design tasks, such as welded, machined, and cast components
• Minimum B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong skills in SolidWorks (or another 3D CAD software)
• A proactive mindset combined with a passion for problem-solving
• Excellent teamwork skills as well as good English language skills (spoken and written)

Bonus points for 

• Experience with rotating electric machines
• Hands-on experience in component manufacturing
• Familiarity with Windchill PDM
• Understanding of product management, product development / engineering processes
• Good communication skills in Finnish

The starting salary for this role ranges from approximately €3,400 to €4,500 with the final amount determined based on the tailored responsibilities of the role and the candidate's skills and experience.
